Yummy Little Workers

These were a special order for a group safety meeting but they would be great for any working group or lover of Bob the Builder.

A very special birthday

A very close friend helped to organize a 21st birthday for his cousin this week.  This is the cupcake tower we put together in her honour.

Summer Bug Cake pop

These vanilla bumblebees were decorated with fondant, and white chocolate wings.    The chocolate ladybugs were decorated with black fondant spots and a junior mint face.  They were the perfect addition to a very special uncle and cousin’s birthday celebration.

Spiderman Cake

Posted on

Last week a very precious little boy turned three.  This little guy is so into spiderman that I was shot with a web as soon as I arrived.  Needless to say, this spiderman cake was a perfect choice.  The design was borrowed from a talented cake designer, Bobbie at BMT cake designs http://www.bmtcakedesigns.com/.

The bottom layer of the cake was vanilla with vanilla buttercream.  The top layer was chocolate with caramel buttercream.   The cupcakes were chocolate and vanilla with cotton candy buttercream icing.  The cupcake toppers and cake decorations were made with fondant and gumpaste.  The only part that was not edible was the spiderman figurine on the top of the cake.
